Seasons and medals
The season’s table and the all-time one, the medals of a season’s top three, and inactivity decay.
Season and all-time
- Every rated match moves two tables: the running season’s and the all-time one.
- A season runs from its start to the next season’s. At its start everyone is back at 1,000 in its table; the all-time table carries on.
- The leaderboard says which season runs, and when the next one starts once it is set.
- A leaderboard season has nothing to do with a map’s spring or winter: that is its time of year, scenery only.
Medals
- When a season ends, its top three win gold, silver and bronze.
- Medals show beside the name in the tables, and on the player’s page with the season they were won in.
- The season menu opens a finished season: its final table and its podium.
Inactivity decay
A season may have it on (the leaderboard says so): after 14 days without a rated match, a player loses 2 points a day, never below 1,000, until they play again. The all-time table never decays. A player’s page shows those days among their matches.
